Hard to say since there are hundreds of reasons for sperm production to decrease. Do you have an health conditions? Any new medications? Any changes in lifestyle?

Men will have a gradual decrease in sperm production with age but typically this will not drop all the way to zero for men in their 40's or even 50's and 60's.

If your fertility is a concern set up an appointment with a local urologist with male fertility training to see options to return that sperm production.

Are you on any testosterone? Testosterone supplements can cause a man to zero out his sperm production.

Diabetic? Another health condition that impacts fertility. The list goes on and on so seeking the attention of an urologist is the best plan to returning that fertility.
