How long does it take you to grow a full beard? It takes me about 3-4 weeks to grow half a goatee (on the chin) The longest I've gone without shaving is about 7 weeks and I cant grow a full beard...

Alexco,
I have a full goatee and a beard running along the jaw line to the base of my earlobes. I have always had difficulty growing full beard so I have always had a mustache or goatee since I was 18-19. I think this has to do with some testicular issues as a baby concerning the facial hair. If I was to shave my face I think that after 1 week I have a beard that you can see. The T-replacement has help accelerate my beard growth some. You may notice a difference after you are on the androgel for a while. Maybe several months. This is just an observation I have made on myself.

I am the five o'clock shadow personified. Most days, I look like I could use a shave by early afternoon. I had a mustache from time I was about 13 until roughly 25 or so then clean shaven for quite a few years. The last time I grew a goatee, it was decent in a couple days, full by a week and needed a trim by the end of second week.

Unfortunately, it only takes me a few days to have a lite beard. Difficult to keep up with keeping smooth.

Going of 47 years now.

On a serious note. I have never been able to grow a full beard or musrache.

I have never been able to grow any hair on my body for that matter. You can probably count the hairs under my arm pitts with one hand......No kidding. the only place I hve been able to grow hair is in my pubic area.

Been teased all my life about this. Guys in locker rooms or whenever I wear shorts always ask if I shave my legs.

Anyone else experience this

I have never been able to grow a full beard...I tried a couple of times and it was so splotchy it looked like crap. On the other hand, I have had a moustache since I was 19 years old. It is full and grows in very quickly.

I can grown a full-one within two weeks. Only did it one time. I too have the five-o'clock shadow look.

My beard grows very fast and if weren't solid white, I would have the afternoon shadow. I shave in the a.m. using the old brush and mug for lather and a straight razor for the shave, but I also have an electric razor to smooth things out for sex with the wife at night. I had a full beard in my late 20's to mid forties. It turned solid white and on several occasions I was mistaken for Santa in street clothes by kids at the mall around Christmas time.

My beard growth is in swirls and shaving is a pain trying to get through all the "tornadic" hair growth.

When my beard was brown and copper colored, my kids thought I looked like Fidel Castro.

I have always been able to grow a good beard. Usually i sport only goatee.mustache. My beard will look full within a week to 10 days. Now that it is almost all white, I look like Santa if I let it grow out for a month. I have actually let it grow out during winter (staring in about October) so for Holidays I look like the "Ho Ho Ho Man".

I just wish I still had all my hair on top.

I'm like you RU. I have always been able to grow a full beard with in a week to ten days. But now it makes me look like Santa. So I only sport my goatee.
