Nerve Damage From Cancer Surgery

JohnMeach posted:
A friend of mine had surgery to remove many lymphnods in her right groin. She has no feeling in her upper thigh and around the right groin area due to nerve damage from the surgery. I was wondering if there is anything she can do to help the healing process and lessen the chance that this nerve damage will be perminent. Thank you

Hiya,

Sorry to hear about her. Did the doc say her sensitivity should come back? If so, it's just a matter of time. But have her call the doc to be sure. Maybe he can suggest something to speed recovery.
Best of luck and health to her!

The doc told her it may come back or it may not.
