mole question

I had a mole on my forehead, it developed over a very short period of time. I did have it checked by my PCP who sent me to a derm who said it was noncancerous, but would remove it if I wanted. I am not that vain so I let it be. Recently, it was dry and itchy. I lotioned it and even picked at the dry skin a bit. Then after a few weeks, I was picking at a new scabbing and the entire thing came off. It didn't even leave a hole in the skin. There is barely any sign it was ever there. Should I be concerned?

I have done the same thing as you and never had an issue, however I suggest you keep a watch on it and make sure that it doesn't return which in that case get to the derm.
