I have been diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of the skin about a month ago. I was told by the doctor that I need to have it surgically removed as soon as possible. Can anyone tell me what are the results of waiting to have the surgery, and if the cancer has spread, what will they do?

You need to get it removed before it spreads. May I ask why you are waiting to have it removed? Maybe it is still small enough that they can get an large margin around it and you will be okay. If it spreads you will some type of treatment.

Please keep us posted.
