Hello,

I have posted here before and there are several professional medical people who are very helpful.

It sounds from your post that you are a younger person (you mention you live with your parents). There are a number of different things that can cause skin irritations and disorders. There is no way of knowing what is going on unless you talk to your parents and make an appointment with a doctor.

My amateur opinion, after having gone through all types of skin cancer, is by your description this seems to be more like an eczema or the beginning of psoriasis or some other skin problem that is systemic (meaning it is popping up on different parts of your body). But only a doctor would be able to really take a good look to diagnose it.

I hope this puts your mind at ease a little bit. None of my skin cancers looked like what you've photographed. But that is only me. For something like this you should not be afraid to show your mom or dad. If their response is not enough to calm your fears, then by all means go to your school nurse and see what they say. In the meantime, relax a bit. Talk to an adult who will take your fear seriously and make you an appt. to see the doctor.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I know that at some point one of the professionals will post something here for you. I would follow their advice and take it one day at a time.

Hi Anon -

I hope you were able to get some sleep and talk with parents in the morning. In addition to the great info that millicent provided, please understand our experts are unable to diagnose over the internet.

Please schedule an appointment with dermatologist to have the areas checked out to alleviate any concern.

In the meantime, I hope these resources are helpful -
