I have two moles that are a color not specified for what you should look for. One on my shoulder is bright red and one on my scalp is purple. Are these colors a warning or am I just being overly dramatic?

Hi jungar13 -

It is always best to have a dermatologist evaluate and monitor moles. If you start now and have a skin check once a year they will be able to identify any change in color, size and shape.

For the two moles you are referring to please see these slideshows -

Please keep us posted and let us know what you find out,
