I came from my dermatologist yesterday. They have decided to do a lymph node byopsy. I am 63 and have had a lesion removed 2 years ago and was scheduled to have one removed yesterday. It was found to be malignant. All this is new to me and its very upsetting. The doctor said if it has gotten into the node then it would be classified as stage 3. He mentioned a drug used to treat stage 3 in the lymph node. Is this effective? Is there any good news that i can hope for?
