squamous cell

I just found out that the small lump on my right arm near my wrist is squamous cell cancer. The lump appeared to have a solid core. I can still see what looks like part of this core in the site where the lump was removed. Anyone else had this sort of experience?

I have had squamous cell on my neck which I had removed several years ago and haven't had any problems since.
Do you have a follow up with your physician scheduled, since you mention that you believe a part of the core remains ?

yes actually I do but not until end of November. I just have never heard of one of these having a core like structure to it and was wondering about that. Guess I'll find out after Thanksgiving.
