I am in perimenopause and have been for the past 2 years. My periods aare heavy and light. But I've notice my sense of smell is not right. Is this normal or cause for concern? I've never heard anyone mention smell and menopause.

Yes, some women do notice a change in their sense of smell. I pretty much lost mine after an unnecessary hysterectomy. My taste buds are also blunted for most foods. Oddly, some women report a heightened sense of smell for certain things.
