Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear Ovaboard,
Hard to say what's going on. You should check in with your health care provider, for an exam/and or ultrasound. (S)he may also want to do some blood work. Good luck in getting the drinking under control; alcohol can cause abdominal pain by affecting the liver and pancreas; so your doctor may want to check those by blood tests.
Good luck; hope the stressors get better,
Mary Jane
