FSH level and menopause

I'm 51 and just got results from FSH test, was told the level was 49.5 and I am in full menopause, have been on birth control pills for years, and was prescibed activella instead, can I still get pregnant if I go off the pill and start hrt? very confused about all this..

Yes, it does sound like you are menopausal. With an FSH of 49, you should not get pregnant, and taking Hormone therapy like Activella will not make you fertile-so hope you feel well with the medication, which should work-and don't worry about pregnancy (some good parts of menopause!)
