I have been having a brownish discharge, and it is mostly at night. Is this something that happens during menopause?

Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear An_247582,
If you have a persistent brownish discharge, I would check in with your health care provider; although one can have some spotting associated with perimenopause, you want to make sure there isn't anything abnormal going on in the lining of your uterus-so do check in with her or him,
Good luck,
Mary Jane
