I am now 50, but had blood work done last October and had diabeties and it also showed I was full blown menopause. I have not had a period in 2 years, but for the last few days I have noticed a discharge that looks somewhat like blood. what's up with this

Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear AN_247681,
If indeed this discharge looks bloody, you need to check in with your health care provider for evaluation; any bleeding after a year without a period bears some looking into. So not to worry, but do check in with her or him,
Good luck,
Mary Jane
