    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
    Dear Laura,
This is a tough call; as you technically are within a year of your last menstrual period. Most likely this indeed is just a period, and not related to something abnormal in the lining of your uterus. But just to be on safe side, I would just check in with your gynecologist, who may want to do another ultrasound, just to check out the lining of your uterus. It's a safe test, and will trustfully just be reassuring to you,
    Good luck,
    Mary Jane
