Sandi posted:
I am having a period after more than one year of not having any. Should I be concerned?
Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear Sandi,
Yes if it is indeed more than one year after the last period, most gynecologists would recommend some investigation; as I just mentioned to Laura, an ultrasound of the lining of the uterus is a reasonable place to start.
Good luck,
Mary Jane
