Menopause & Cramping

I just read the postings on this subject and it appears that I'm sensing the same frustration as others -- cramping and menopause. I've had lower stomach and lower back cramping along with no periods for months on end. I find that the lower back cramping is much like what I experienced during child birth (lower back labor). I was truly wondering if I had something more going on, but I'm figuring now that it must all be associated with menopause. I've had so many other tests lately, that I don't want to head to a doctore if I really don't need to. Thanks everyone for sharing your wisdom and experiences.
