I have not had a period in the last 8 months and if i had unprotected sex when i feel i am ovulating can i get pregnant? I do have a creamy discharge and i feel that i am ovulating because i have the symtoms. Should i take the pill morning after pill?

Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear ritzcrackers1,
You raise an important point-if indeed you haven't gone a full year without a period, although it's not super likely you'd conceive, it is still possible-so yes, I think the morning after pill is quite a reasonable thing to do in the circumstances-
Good luck,
Mary Jane
