Aberen and BCpills
Rabbits posted:
Is it ok to take birth control pills and Aberen at the same time? The BC pills are for headaches. Thanks in advance for any insight.
Mary Jane Minkin, MD responded:
Dear Rabbits,
I think you are referring to Amberen? I don't know of any contraindication to taking Amberen with birth control pills. But why are you taking the Amberen? I don't find it's helpful with anything; and if you are taking birth control pills, you don't need any hormonal therapy; birth control pills will take care of the menopausal side effects. It's very unlikely to help you lose weight, if that's why you are taking it; try less caloric intake and more exercise-those do work much better,
Good luck,
Mary Jane
