Flu and Hotflashes

I'm 49 and started having hot flashes about 3 months ago. Very annoying and all the time. About a month ago I had the flu and ran a fever for a week. Now, no hot flashes. It's like my internal thermometer is reset. Has anyone else experienced this?

Dear An_250478,
Good question: I don't know the cause. It is possible that it's a coincidence-hot flashes can come and go throughout the perimenopausal time frame. Good question-I'll be interested in seeing what everyone else has to say-
Good luck,
Mary Jane
