The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Dear GeeAnne,
I hear about this from all my menopausal patients; it is almost universal. Have you tried products with simethicone (like gas-X, or mylicon)-sometimes they do help. Some nutritionists mention trying to limit carbs in the middle of the day (so avoid sandwiches for lunch, for example.)
But unfortunately, it is indeed a common problem,
    Good luck,
    Mary Jane

For all the ladies out there who may find these posts now or in the future - I have just started with the digestive issues. They seemed to come on simultaneously with my recent 20 day long period... hat finally went away but the digestion symptoms have not. I get lots of stomach gas (like burps but not actually burping as I don't generally burp)

Also my bowels are constantly gurgling really loud as if I' hungry when I am not... gassy there too!!

Stools looser and more urgent too!!

    Never expected all this!!
