Pretty much anything's "normal" during perimenopause! Shorter periods, longer periods, heavier bleeding, lighter bleeding, shorter or longer cycles. If you want to reduce the flow, you could try some Advil or Aleve. There are also hormonal and non-hormonal prescription medications available. Just hang in there and hopefully, it won't be too much longer before things settle down or stop. Of course, don't hesitate to see your doctor if it becomes worrisome or you feel you're becoming anemic.
