I missed a period....

Ok, I'm 49, had a tubal ligation done in 2003, after my youngest was born. Until now, I've had regular monthly cycles. Last month, I had all the signs and symptoms of my period, but no period.

My fiance' and I don't use a back up method of birth control because of the tubal ligation. So, am I discovering the joys of menopause, or...am I, God forbid, pregnant?

Help!

Pregnancy is possible, although rare, after tubal ligation so a pregnancy test would probably be a good idea. Otherwise, it's probably just peri-menopause.
