    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Hello

My son is over seas in China and he had to have a health test to renew his visa. He went to an "english" hospital but all the results appear in chinese as well. at the bottom it says abnormal liver function.
his test results were as follows:

    alt- 128
    ast- 251
    cho 5.68
    neu- 47.70
    mono% 13.40
    mono# 1.10
    mpv- 8.32

these are the tests that were abnormal, all the rest are normal. I am very worried for him, as some of these are off the charts. Can anyone tell what this may be. I am encouraging him to get to another doctor for follow up but he is 29 and doesn't seem to worried

    thank you
