    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I have been in pain in the groin area and have been hurting for five years! I've went to the doctors about it but they always say that theres nothing wrong. If there was nothing wrong then why do I hurt?

    Hi babythug,

I'm sorry to hear about your ongoing pain with no diagnosis nor treatment. Here is the WebMD Groin Problem and Injury Overview for you to look over and compare your symptoms. Hopefully, a medical professional can help you in the near future.

    Best of luck!

could be internal hernia. cancer usually does not hurt and over 5 years you would know if you had a cancer. if it is a real problem for you ask about getting a pelvic CT scan. be aware that groin pain can actually be from problems elsewhere such as a kidney stone, lower ureteral issues or even testicular problems such as hydrocele, varicocele or even a tumor .I suggest you see a urologist.
