shoulder pain
MelissaD1970 posted:
My husband has some pretty bad shoulder pain in his left arm. It starts at his shoulder, and causes his whole arm to be sore. He does have some arthritis in that shoulder, but has had for a while without having so much pain. Due to his chronic back pain he is already on pain meds(hydrocodone), and neurontin(gabapentin) for nerve damage. He sleeps on that side a lot and has been trying not to lay on it as much. What more can be done or what could be causing such pain. I am wondering if he has injured his rotater cup? Or maybe heart problems? He is stubborn and apprehensive of talking to his gp about new problems.

There is no way for anyone on an internet message board to diagnose or give medical advice. Your husband must see his doctor for evaluation and treatment.
