What a Great Experience this group has become. The kinship in Brotherhood. There is such a diverse range of topics. This is the place we can be as open as we want to be... Everyone is welcome to join, but it is not a place to Cruise. It's for sharing sexual questions and comments among men.

This is Ru's partner. I just discovered he was a member of this group. I am not sure how to inform those who know him from here, but will do my best.
Last April, Ru was going through a very difficult depression. His family, friends, and myself tried to help him. Unfortunately, we were not able to. And he ended his life. I have struggled, trying to figure out what I could have done to prevent this, but know I did all I could.

For thos of you who had become friends with him, I am sure this is a shock. He was such a giving person, caring, and the best friend I could ever have. I ma sure he helped several of you as well. At least I hope he was able to.

Best to you all.

I am so saddened by this.... Ru was a great person, and he had the biggest heart.... he helped me when I was having some family issues and I appreciated everything he had to say and any advice that he had to give.

The world has an empty space in it without him.

To you, Ru's partner, I send my deepest sympathy and condolences to you and his family.

Thank you for telling us, and may peace be with you.

While I didn't become active in this community until after RuBare had moved on I know that I'm one of many heirs to his legacy, am a better man for his contributions and will be in his debt moving forward. His memory will be safe with the many of us he has helped reach our potential.

During the year I've been posting here -- sometimes to give advice, sometimes to get it, often just to learn and share -- I've grown into the man I believe I have been intended to be and have become warmly comfortable with that. It has only been with Ru's continuing influence that such a thing can happen and will continue to happen to others who haven't even found this group yet.

Our thoughts are with you and hope that our appreciation of Ru's gifts and his significant generosity to us all comes as a continuing comfort now and in the days ahead.

It is with sadness that I read this information. I used to exchange posts with Ru fairly frequently and then seemed to lose contact. I am fortunate to have been the beneficiary of his wisdom. My deepest sympathy to you, Ru's family and the rest of his online friends.
