4/18/12 - Headache began at night. Centered around my left eye socket with pain that isn't constant but random and
sporadic. Quick movements such as turning my head too fast, leaning forward, or even vibrations from driving over
bumpy train tracks cause brief jolts of pain. Perhaps the most unnerving thing of all is the constant feeling -
not so much pain - but that the pressure or something involving the left side of my head/eye is off. I begin
taking two Advil every 4 hours.
4/24/12 - With one day shy of a week, I begin to hear from people at work that it could be due to a sinus headache
- even though I have no allergies or sinus issues at the moment. I am told to go to Walgreen's and pick up some
over-the-counter Aleve-D: Sinus & Cold. I begin taking this: 1 pill every 12 hours. At night I attempt to do some
last minute homework before bed, but find myself unable to look at my monitor for long periods of time.
4/26/12 - Headache continues, but its not so much a headache as it is a constant dull feeling of pressure behind my
left eye with random sporadic jolts of pain. Sometimes going from a dark hallway to a light-filled room agitates
it and causes pain, but not always. I continue to take the sinus medicine that I bought, even though I'm having
doubts that it's doing anything for me. I am praying its a pinched nerve or pulled neck/back muscle that will
eventually fix itself.
***Symptoms I HAVE had***
-Build up of pressure behind/around left eye.
-Unable to stand looking at a computer monitor up close for long periods.
-Jolts of pain that originate around my left browline bone and move up to the top of my head.
***Symptoms I HAVE NOT had***
-Blurred/Double Vision
-Dizzyness
-Red, Itchy, or Watery Eyes
-Waking from sleep due to pain
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or what I should do next? I am a 25/m college student in Tulsa,Oklahoma with no insurance of any kind just trying to get by.
Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated beyond words!
