need help managing daily headaches/migraines!

I'm a 27 yr old female and experience regular headaches. I've had tests to rule out anything major, including brain scans. About 5 years ago I found a good Dr who put me on Inderal which was 40mg morn and 40mg night. I reduced it down to 40mg of a morn and seemed to cope ok with that (just had the odd migraine)

I recently decided to stop the inderal, hoping that I'd be ok and to see if I can manage the headaches other ways. Now about 6 weeks has passed and for the past 2 weeks (this is going into my third wk) Ive had a daily headache. SOme days worst than others. Last week I had my menstrual cycle so put it down to my normal hormonal migraine. But now thats finished, the headache is still here.

I am resistant to go back on inderal but I dont want these daily headaches again! What else can i rule out first before going back on inderal?! WHat are some more natural things that people have tried?

Natural things don't work for me. They cou;ld work for you, but have you tried any other preventative meds besides Inderal? What's the reason you don't want to take the Inderal?

Hey, thanks for your response. I figured natural things may not work for me either but was curious to try.

I did try sandomigran (pizotifen) in the past, it didnt work. Inderal was the next option and because it seemed to work ok i kept with it.
To be honest it isnt that bad, i guess I was just getting tired of the constant tiredness. I then moved and now have to travel 40 mins each way to work and it was a real struggle , ive noticed a difference with the tiredness since stopping!
If these headaches keep up i'll be going back onto the inderal but was hoping to be drug free for a while...stupid headaches.
