Excruciating flashes of pain

Dubya posted:
I have had migraines for about 3-years and are becoming less frequent. For 4or5 days now, I have been experiencing brief, yet excruciating flashes of pain usually on 1side of my head. I do not know if this is significant as I have not seen a neurologist in 2 years & have no one to consult. ?what should I do?
