    Frequent Headaches
    TJohnson74 posted:
I get headaches 3-4 times a week, sometimes more. Some of the headaches aren't as severe but there have been some that I am nauseaus and/or vomiting. I have experienced vision problem to which I lose sight and will just see stars. Of course with the more severe headaches light, sound and movement make them even worse. There have been times where they will last a day sometimes more. Anyone have any insight for me on how to head these headaches off or get rid of them once they have set in? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you reported these symptoms to your physician? Your headaches definitely sound like migraines with the aura. Do you get the aura (spots or squiggly lines) before you experience the headaches? That is the time to take an abortive to stop the migraine in it's tracks. Are you taking a migraine preventative? Do you have an abortive medication? Your physician will know which medicines to try and the right dosage. Good luck.
