severe headache felt like my brain was bleeding
cloverduchess posted:
I have had headaches migraines my entire life but this felt very different. Just started gabapentin and suspect that as a cause. Usually I have sharp ice pick pain but this felt like my brain was bleeding from the top and coming down all sides. Pain was so bad I was crying lasted for 24 hours and since then I feel fuzzy and have trouble with remembering simple words. Anybody have any ideas or similar experience?
itmatsb responded:
Gabapentin or Neurontin can make people's brains go fuzzy. I was practically comatose after I tried it. Have you tried the more common daily preventative migraine medications such as nortriptylene or Topomax? If those haven't worked for you, I have many other suggestions. Let me know what you have already tried. No one should have to struggle with migraines.
