Atypical migraines may have an extremely long duration. In this headaches are generally one-sided and may be accompanied by nausea and other debilitating symptoms. You can get more info on atypical migraines here: http://www.livestrong.com/article/183244-what-are-atypical-migraines/

My "atypical or equivalent migraine" consists of inability to speak and confusion to the point of not knowing how to use my cell phone and lap top. Lasts for about an hour, no pain. Odd.
