have had migraines since age five and now am 35...i came upon this book after many years of suffering bad diagnoses, horrible medicine regimens(which didnt really work and gave me new problems) and loss of important life moments. i felt like i would never get better, but one day came upon the book"the migraine brain" by doctor carolyn bernstein. THE GREATEST BOOK EVER. i wish i had read it so much earlier in my life, but take my word for it...just read it and it will change your life. it basically compiles all the info you could ever need to cure yourself or at least make yourself much better. i read the book and put the words into action. i was taking 8 different meds daily to get rid of migraines and now i take NOTHING. i watch my diet, exercise(as much as possible), drink plenty of water and make time for myself to focus on my health and getting better. i now have almost no headaches to speak of because i cant remember when i had one last. my life used to be consumed by keeping up with when to take meds and keeping track of symtoms, foods and life changes. i kept a migrain diary daily and now i keep a LIFE diary that tells what wonderful things i am able to do now that my life isnt consumed by migraines.
you really have nothing to lose, just give it a read.
