Hey girls! I did not even know this board existed until someone on the one year board posted about it today. I've missed seeing all of you. Hope all of you and your LOs are doing well. Shae is doing good. Walking, talking, signing, sleeping through the night (FINALLY!!!), off the bottles but still nursing in the morning and before bed. She'll be a year on the 24th and I just cannot believe how fast the time has gone by.

Hi! This is my first time on this board too. I didn't know it existed until I saw it on the 1 year exchange.
Carley will be 13 months on the 16th of April. She is walking and saying several words. She's waving and blowing kisses and it's the cutest thing ever!
I can't believe how fast the time has gone either.

I post on this board sometimes. Things get waaaaay too out of control on the 1 y/o boards, in my opninion. I can't believe Shae's birthday is right around the corner. I wish I could get Emma to sign, but she has no desire to even try. Oh well. She'll be talking soon enough. Once she learns to say a word, though, she stops saying it. Little stinker. We finally got Emma off the bottle, too! She has a sippy cup with a "sprots bottle" top, and that's what she uses in the morning and before bed. I still miss nursing her sometimes. Just because she was so small and cuddly. I'm still a little sad that she weaned herself without any warning. Ah well... such is life. I just can't believe how fast they grow up!

Hey Tabatha! Glad you and Emma are doing well. Yay for no more bottles! Every once in awhile me and DH talk about how nice it is not to have to wash bottles and pump parts anymore. Bummer that she won't sign. Shae's favorite sign is "please" because she knows it will get her what she wants. Haha! That's funny that once Emma will quit saying a word once she learns it. Shae calls everyone "Dada" now even though she can say their names. She thinks it's funny. She also calls me JoJo since that's what everyone else calls me most of the time. Silly kid.

That is so cute that Shae calls you JoJo! I totally agree with how nice it is not to have to wash bottles and pump parts. And not having to pump in general is fantastic. We are trying for #2 now, so I'll have to enjoy having my "girls" to myself while I can. I'm trying to teach Emma "all done". When she's finished eating or drinking, she just throws whatever is on her tray across the dang kitchen. Now, she wants to feed me all her leftovers or put them in my hand, so that's a step up. We had Emma's 12 month appt yesterday, and aparently she was measured wrong at her 9 month appt. It makes sense. They had her as this emaciated amazon who jumped waaaay up her growth curve. She's now officially 29 inches, 18 lbs. 7 ozs. Still my skinny minny!

Haha! That's funny that she will put the food in your hand. Shae won't sign all done. She just says "out" but she says it with a Canadien accent like "Oot" or something. Glad her appointment went well. She's so tiny! I bet she looks so cute walking around. We think Shae is so little to be running around everywhere. She was 19 lbs 3 oz & 29 inches at her 9 month appt so I'm sure she probably DOES seem like an Amazon compared to Miss Emma. I'm so excited that you guys are trying for #2. We're going to start trying next month. My insurance kicks in next week so I want to give it a full month so they don't have a reason to deny my claims by saying I was pregnant before I got the insurance. Maybe we will be due around the same time again. Wouldn't that be funny?

Oot. LOL!!!! It is the cutest thing ever to see my tiny little lady walking like a monster all through the house. I love how stiff legged they are at first. We aren't officially trying until next month, so it's possible we will be due around the same time. That would be so fun! I have something to run by you, but I'll send it in a FB message. How many kiddos are you guys wanting? I want 4, and I think Paul is leaning that way now. At first he said no way. Now that we have Emma and she's so much fun, I think he likes the idea of a few more.

Thanks Stacey! That's awesome Tabatha. I hope we do end up being due around the same time. That would be really fun. My BFF and I had our babies the same day. It was cool going through it together. I'd love to have 4 but we don't have the room for that many. I think if we had a boy next time I'd be happy with two but if not, we'll try for a third. Gat says that if we end up with 3 girls he's done.
