    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

i was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago. My MRI showed lots of legions. the doctor ordered a spinal tap and when that was ok he said i did not have MS. My question: can I still have MS? even with a "good" spinal fluid test?

As Dave says the short answer is yes . Find an MS specialist and have your testing redone . If it , is not MS you need to find out what is causing all those leisions .

If the try to tell you it has to be positive I was dignosed by two sets of MRI's and a physical despite negative spinal tap .

It can be a long road to diagnosis but it is up to you to advocate for yourself so stay at the doctors till you are sure the are right ,stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.
