MS Terms Test: Lesions vs plaques

What is the difference between the words: Lesion and Plaque?

Lesion: current breaks in the mylin?

Plaque: previous activity that represents the scarring that the body attempts to repair the mylin?

I recently saw my neuro and forgot to ask her this.

I post this here for I believe the answer to this question will help all of us.
