Has anyone heard of a neuropathy that is caused by a part of the brain called the 'oliveri'? or some such??
Jeffrey A Rumbaugh, MD, PhD responded:
Unfortunately, I am not able to decipher what part of the brain might be referred to as "oliveri". However, neuropathy (if the term is correctly used) refers to the peripheral nervous system; no part of the brain (central nervous system) could "cause" a neuropathy.
