In general, I urge MS patients to read carefully and put aside any hype that is expressed within a study article. A reputable study uses a large, randomized sample, with double-blind placebo-controlled methods that produce repeatable results.

Please apply these standards to every study you read.

Bear in mind that any study involving RRMS patients includes subjects whose disease has as a characteristic unpredictable periods of remission. This phenomenon of remission greatly complicates even the highest quality studies that show promising results.
