My MS specialist has scheduled me for a low dose of chemo IV therapy. I need to hear from people that have gone through this procedure. My concerns are what type of results it produces, the side effects, is it worth going through it, how long time wise it takes, do you do this once a month or for the rest of your life or any other information that would be helpful.Thank-you so much for your imput.

    Hi Pam,
I receive this IV therapy monthly both chemo and steriods at the same visit. The only side effects I get is lots of energy and don't sleep well that night, they will probably give you an anti nausa drug before the chemo, I have never felt any nausa after this treatment and I have been receiving this treatment going on my second year now. WOW can't believe it's been this long.

My neuro told me that he has many patients on therapy as long as 10 years. Everyone is different but you will probably be fine with it.

    Good Luck

    tsthank-you Rob for your reply.

My question to you is have you seen positive results from this therapy and if so how long did it take to see the results? How long in hours did this treatment take and is it the same amount every treatment?

    thanks again Rob
