Memorial Day weekend can mark the unofficial start of summer, fun in the sun, outdoor celebrations, BBQ's and the first time to introduce your LO to family and friends.

Sun exposure for babies, even for a brief time, can cause sunburn. Check with your pediatrician to ask at what age you can apply sunscreen. The usual age is 6 months. If too young for sunscreen be sure to keep their skin covered and don't forget a cute hat and sunglasses.

Another worry can be those pesky bugs. Baby's sensitive skin can react to bites and bug spray. Again, talk with your pediatrician about what they recommend for bug spray.
