    Weight loss while breastfeeding
    Jackie03291 posted:
So I started back to work this week (BOO HOO!!!) and unfortunately none of my old work clothes fit yet!

So I need to kick my weight loss into high gear. My question is that I am breastfeeding and plan to continue breastfeeding for as long as my little girl will go.

So I'm just wondering if any of you mommies who have breastfed have any helpful tips or resources that you can share to help me get started. I obviously want to lose as much weight as I can without jeopardizing my supply because I know that I need a certain amount of calories per day to produce breast milk.

definitely keep eatinga healthy diet. Your body does require more calories than normal, but be sure to track those extra calories and make sure they are useful ones. When I found my supply was low, eating oatmeal always helped as well as taking an herbal supplement, fenugreek.
