Naps for a 9 month old...Help!

swim10 posted:
A few weeks ago, I did the Ferber method with my baby because he was waking up constantly during the night. He sleeps so much better during the night with an average of 10 hours a night.

His naps are a different story. He only takes 2 per day and he will only sleep 30 minutes each time. He wakes up crying and I know he is still tired. He stands up screaming at the top of his lungs. I have let him cry a few minutes to see if he will go back to sleep, but he doesn't.

Any advice to help make his naps longer?

Thanks

Hi swim10 -

Glad to hear he is sleeping better at night, 10 hours is great!

Do you think he is transitioning to one long nap per day? Maybe you can try giving him an early lunch and putting him down.
