I just had my baby boy on the 11th. He a my first baby and I am sleep deprived and weepy lol. One big problem I keep having is he keeps peeing all over himself espically at night. I have to change his clothes 2-3 times every night. He is not peeing though the diaper but it is coming out somewhere and getting all over his clothes. On the side, back and sometimes front. I always push his little weenie down so I don't understand dhow this is happening. We are currently using Huggies. Any advice?

Also, as long as I am asking questions I a also having problems getting him to sleep in the bassinet. He just plan won't, I wait until he is asleep and put him in ans a few minutes later he starts to fuss. When he is asleep during the day he naps on the couch by himself fine so I don't know why he won't sleep in the bassinet. Right now I a co sleeping with him which of course is not comfortable. Any advice?

I had the same problems with Huggies. They just didn't fit to my sons body type. I would try using any kind of Pampers, besides the "Pampers Cruzers." As far as the sleeping, do you swaddle him? The couch is obviously more comfortable, but the couch probably forms to him, making him feel swaddled. My son used a swaddling blanket until he was almost 4 months old. You can also try just putting him in the crib. Don't put any blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, ect. in the crib with him. Some babies just don't like the basinet. Also, I know ill probably get some bad feedback for this but, you can try having him sleep on his stomach. My son WOULD NOT SLEEP on his back. He would wake up every hour. If he feel asleep in my arms, and i put him down on his back, he would wake right up screaming.

Try pampers swaddlers. Carson couldn't wear huggies until about 6 months old because he would leak. If you have the money available, try getting a Fisher-Price SnugaBunny Newborn Rock 'N Play Soother or something similar. I had this one and used it till carson was like 7 months old. Best thing ever. It fit right next to our bed and I could reach him easily and you can strap him in or not, and there is a slight incline so baby isn't flat on its back. Carson slept really well in it. Since we haev changed to a crib I have a hard time getting him to stay asleep in there. Usually he ends up on the floor next to me to avoid everyone in the house waking up.Also congrats on the little one

Definitley use pampers!!! My son had the same issue, when I would use anything other than pampers. None of my kids would sleep in a bassinet The couch, our bed and anyones arms lol. So we dealt with the co sleeping thing lol. Good luck.

We tried Huggies for my boy twin and Pampers form my girl twin. The Pampers worked great so we kept her in those until recently. We changed James to Luvs because they fit him really well. When they were 3 month old, I changed James to the Sam's Club diapers. He's a lot bigger than Erin, so he was wearing a bigger size diaper.

We kept Erin in the Pampers until they were both 6 months old, then she was big enough to wear the Sam's Club diapers that her brother wears.

About the bassinet, my twins hated theirs. They never slept well in them. I co-sleep with them now, but we're trying to transition them to their crib. I don't mind co-sleeping with Erin. She's slept with me since she was born, since she had colic and needed lots of attention. There's just no room to co-sleep with both of them. I think that mine hated their bassinets because they weren't soft enough.

My six month old recently kept peeing through the diaper as well. I brought Huggies overnights and this has solved my problem...For now. The overnights are more pricey but soooo worth it. Give them a try
