My 10 week old granddaughter has been making strange noises, sometimes when drinking, sometimes after. My daughter mentioned this to her Pediatrician at a 2 month old well baby check up. He concurred & made a comment that is "would get worse before it gets better." Cannot find any literature on this subject.

My 5 week old son has the same thing. It's called Laryngomalacia. My pediatrician says it usually corrects itself by 18 months and it's not serious. She recommended we see an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Doctor, but I think it was more to verify that he has laryngomalacia and not something serious.
