This is a great resource for parents on guidelines about milestones in their baby's hearing process.

Every baby should have an initial hearing screening by 1 month of age.

If they have not passed the initial, they should have a hearing diagnosis by 3 months of age

Children with any type of hearing loss should receive early intervention services by 6 months of age.
