About 1 in 5 people in the U.S. suffer from seasonal allergies. The National Allergy Bureau posts levels of common allergens (including tree, weed and grass pollen as well as molds) in multiple areas of the country. Although children don't typically have respiratory allergies in the first few years of life, the particles in the air may still irritate their eyes and breathing passages.
