Here's what your doctor is looking for:

A social smile (as early as 6 weeks of age) - recognizing your face and smiling at you in response

Tracking with her eyes - smoothly from one side to the other

Cooing - adding vowel sounds (oohs and aahs)

That smile makes 5am a little easier to handle..

And DD loves to watch the cats pace in front of her, it's so cute! She even will smile and coo at them! The cats are not afraid yet but we keep telling them just wait until DD can crawl and chase them!
