I don't use alot of 7th Generation products but they are way more enviro friendly than most other companies. I had signed up for their newsletter awhile back and it usually has some great info in it. Here is the most recent one I got

I just got the same emailed newsletter.

I really like the increasing environmental chemicals/toxins causing harm in our children.

I recently bought some of their dishwashing detergent. And it works great. Smells good too.

It just really dries out my hands. So, I'm not really sure if I'm going to stick with it. I mean my hands are burning after I wash dishes :(

    Daisy,

Could you purchase some latex gloves then? You know, the kind women wore in the 50s when washing dishes?

It shouldn't burn...do you have drier than normal hands?

    Is your water too hot?

I bought Safeway's brand of eco-friendly dishwasher detergent. It's a liquid. A bit pricier than my normal Cascade stuff. I find it takes quite a bit to really clean those dishes.

But it doesn't contain phosphates...so I LIKE that.

    I would...but I have a sensitivity to latex :(

I have eczema on my hands, so that is probably why. Most of the time soap doesn't bother me, but I guess this one does. I'm going to try to get it more under control before I completely ditch the soap. Maybe that Method soap would be good too?
