VINEGAR: Mix 1 part water to 1 part vinegar. Works as a natural deodorizer AND disinfectant! Safe on most surfaces and incredibly inexpensive. Vinegar smell disappears as it dries. Use in bathroom to clean your tub (gets rid of soap scum), your toilet (gets rid of rings if used undiluted), and your floor (eliminates hard water stains). Use in your kitchen on your countertops, scrub out your sink, and on your appliances for a squeaky clean. Use in the laundry room: add 1/2 C. in replace of fabric softener. Helps break down heavy detergents and naturally softens clothing. Great for sensitive skin!

LEMON JUICE: Mix with water to eliminate hard water stains and soap scum. Shines brass and copper items. Mix 1 cup olive oil with ½ cup lemon juice and you have a furniture polish for your hardwood furniture. Put a whole lemon peel through the garbage disposal. It freshens the drain and the kitchen.

BAKING SODA: Used the same way as commercial abrasive cleaners but non-toxic. Great deodorizer!

I second the vinegar. I use it on everything, I buy the HUGE bottle of it at the store for just a few bucks and it lasts quite a while.

Also, salt is a good abrasive cleaner as well. If you have those tough to clean spots on your stove, a little lemon juice, salt and some elbow grease will get it right off. And, not scratch.

If you cut a lemon in half, pour some salt on it, you have a great polisher for copper bottom pots.

I add vinegar to my load of towels when I wash them. Keeps the mildewy smell out of them. Works like a charm.

I'm addicted to these cleaners:

They are all natural. The miraclean works on everything. bathrooms, showers, mirrors, windows. It smells wonderful which is a big thing for me! I also love her floor cleaner. It's pricey but I get it in a co-op deal on one of my other forums so I get it for 25-30% off.

OMG....Monkey farts smells SOOOO good! I use it for my soap bits for my cloth wipes. It's my favorite! Let me find the link to the smell descriptions. Here it is:

Some say it smells like juicy fruit gum but I don't think so. It's just a great smell.
